Why I Started This Firm

Insurance Companies Count on You Giving Up

Most people who get hurt in accidents never hire a lawyer. They accept whatever the insurance company offers, usually a fraction of what their case is worth, because they don't know any better or they're too overwhelmed to fight back.

I started Game Time Attorneys to change that.

Insurance companies have teams of adjusters and lawyers working against you. I'm the person who works for you. When you have a personal injury attorney who knows how these companies operate, who prepares every case like it's going to trial, and who actually keeps you informed throughout your case, the dynamic shifts. That's what I do. I shift the power back to you.

My Background

From Probation Officer to Personal Injury Lawyer

Before law school, I worked as a probation officer in Tucson. Every day, I saw people getting crushed by systems they didn't understand. Court dates they couldn't navigate. Paperwork they couldn't read. Legal terms nobody explained. Good people got worse outcomes simply because nobody was in their corner.

That's when I knew I didn't want to be part of the system. I wanted to be the person who helps people fight it.

"I saw what happens when people face the legal system alone. I became a lawyer so they wouldn't have to."

I earned my J.D. at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. During law school, I interned with the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corps and clerked at the Pima County Juvenile Court. I passed the bar in Arizona first, then Illinois. In 2023, I founded Game Time Attorneys in Chicago.

I grew up speaking Spanish at home. About half of my clients prefer to work in Spanish, and they deserve to understand every word of their case without anything getting lost through a translator.

Today, I handle personal injury cases across Illinois and Arizona: car accidents, truck collisions, motorcycle crashes, slip and falls, and wrongful death. Every client gets my cell phone number. When someone is hurt and scared, the last thing they need is to chase down someone who barely knows their name.

My Approach

How I Handle Cases

Every Case Prepared for Trial

I prepare every case like it's going to trial, even when it settles. Insurance companies can tell when a lawyer is bluffing. They know which attorneys will fold at the first lowball offer and which ones will take it the distance. That changes what they're willing to pay.

You Stay Informed

I keep you informed without making you hunt me down. You'll know what's happening with your case, what comes next, and what we're fighting for.

I Don't Flinch

And when they lowball you, I don't flinch.

Experience

My Journey

2009-2014

Probation Officer, Tucson

Worked with individuals navigating the justice system. Saw firsthand how people without proper representation often got worse outcomes, not because they were wrong, but because nobody was in their corner.

2014-2018

University of Arizona Law

Earned my J.D. at the James E. Rogers College of Law. Interned with the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corps, Pima County Juvenile Court Center, and Arizona Wildcats Athletics Compliance Office.

2018-2023

Associate Attorney

Cut my teeth at a personal injury firm handling car accidents, slip and falls, and wrongful death cases. Learned the tactics insurance companies use and how to beat them.

2023-Present

Game Time Attorneys

Founded my own practice with one belief: injured people deserve a lawyer who treats them like people. Every client talks directly to me, not a paralegal or translator.

What I Stand For

My Values

Direct Communication

When you call, you get me. Not a voicemail. Not a paralegal. Not someone reading from a script. Your case is personal to you. It should be personal to your lawyer too.

Bilingual Service

I'm a native Spanish speaker. No translator. Your case in your language with your lawyer. Half my clients prefer Spanish, and they deserve to understand every word of their case.

No Fee Unless You Win

I don't get paid unless you do. No hourly fees, no retainers, no hidden costs. This means I only take cases I believe in, and I fight hard to win them.

Trial Ready

Insurance companies settle for more when they know you're prepared to go to court. I prepare every case like it's going to trial, because that's how you get better offers.

When I'm Not Fighting Insurance Companies

I live with my family and our dog Griffey, named after the only Ken Griffey Jr. My Seattle roots run deep: Seahawks on Sundays, Mariners in the summer, and college football Saturdays are non-negotiable.

When I'm not working on cases, I'm usually at the gym or planning the next road trip. The rest of my time goes to the people I care about.
